Sink Reglazing in Culver City, CA
Rust rings, chips and dull, scratched bowls disappear with professional sink reglazing. Bathroom and kitchen sinks refinished in place, in any color, with no plumbing work.

Keep the Sink, Lose the Stains
A worn sink makes an otherwise clean bathroom look neglected. In Culver City we see it constantly: rust blooming around the drain of a 1950s porcelain sink in Carlson Park, a chipped pedestal sink in a Lindberg Park bungalow, or a scratched double-bowl kitchen sink in a Fox Hills rental between tenants.
Replacing a sink often means replacing the faucet, the vanity top and sometimes the cabinet to match. Reglazing refinishes the bowl you already have, matches or changes its color, and is done in a couple of hours.
- Pedestal, wall-mount, drop-in and undermount bathroom sinks
- Single and double-bowl kitchen sinks
- Integrated cultured-marble vanity tops
- Rust, chip and scratch repair
- Color-matched to existing tile and tubs
- No plumbing or cabinet changes
Bathroom Sinks vs. Kitchen Sinks: What to Expect
Both are reglazed with the same commercial coating and the same prep, but they live very different lives, so we set expectations and warranties accordingly.
Bathroom sinks
Bathroom sinks see soap, toothpaste and water, which the finish handles easily. A reglazed bathroom sink is covered by our 2-year written warranty and typically lasts many years with normal non-abrasive cleaning.
Kitchen sinks
Kitchen sinks take boiling water, cast iron pans, dropped utensils and scouring pads. Reglazing is still an excellent, affordable fix, especially for rentals and for sinks in a color or size that is hard to replace, but it will show wear sooner. For that reason kitchen sinks carry a 6-month warranty. A simple sink grid dramatically extends the life of the finish.
The process
- Faucet and drain trim removed or masked; countertop and cabinet protected
- Bowl degreased, rust and chips repaired, surface etched for adhesion
- Bonding agent plus three to four sprayed coats of urethane
- 2–3 hours on site, usable after 24 hours
Every kitchen sink we reglaze is covered by a 6-month written warranty. Kitchen sinks take hot pans, dropped cookware and daily scrubbing, so they carry a shorter term than our 2-year warranty on bathtubs, showers, enclosures, tile and bathroom sinks. Full terms are on our Terms of Service page.

Sink Reglazing FAQs
What kinds of sinks can be reglazed?
Porcelain, cast iron, enameled steel, cultured marble, fiberglass and acrylic sinks can all be reglazed. That covers pedestal sinks, wall-mount sinks, drop-in and undermount bathroom sinks, integrated vanity tops, and single- or double-bowl kitchen sinks.
Why do kitchen sinks only get a 6-month warranty?
Kitchen sinks take hot pans, dropped pots, knives and heavy scrubbing every day, far more abuse than a bathtub. Our coating holds up well with reasonable care, but because of that daily wear we warranty kitchen sinks for 6 months instead of 2 years.
Can you reglaze a sink without removing it from the vanity?
Yes. We reglaze sinks in place. The faucet is masked or removed, the countertop is protected, and no plumbing or cabinet work is required.
How long until I can use the sink?
24 hours. After that it is fully usable. For kitchen sinks we recommend a dish rack or sink grid to protect the finish from dropped cookware.
Can you fix a rust stain or chip near the drain?
Yes. Rust around the drain and chips on the rim are the most common sink repairs we see in Culver City. They are ground out, filled and sealed before the new finish is applied.
Can you reglaze the sink and the countertop as one piece?
Yes. Integrated cultured-marble vanity tops with a molded sink are coated as a single unit, which is a popular update for 1970s and 80s condos in Fox Hills.
